A kuripe is a V-shaped pipe used for self-application — one end sits at the nostril, the other at the mouth, and you blow the Rapé into your own nostril. A tepi is a longer pipe used when another person blows the medicine into your nostril for you. Both are valid paths. Many find the tepi a more profound experience, as receiving from another deepens the ceremonial quality. We carry both applicator types in our shop and are happy to guide you on proper technique.
